ORIGIN OF
THE PINECOBLE SETTER LINE

Pinecoble Kelly, Lady and Case
Using the old bloodlines as a starting
point-Twombly, Pinewild, Old Hemlock and Ryman-I began an EXTREMELY
selective breeding program. My purpose has always been to BETTER
THE BREED, which should be priority #1 for all breeders! Having
this attitude I have been able to make vast improvements over
the original bloodlines in areas such as hunting ability, hip
strength, conformation, style, and intensity on point. Also, my
pups start hunting at a young age. Most do very well in their
first season if handled properly.
The success of my breeding program is evident due to the fact
that other breeding kennels have purchased or bred to Pinecoble
dogs to improve their bloodlines. Also, many potential breeders
just getting started have chosen Pinecoble dogs to start their
breeding program.
All of my dogs have the following in common:
- They are very hard hunters.
- They are natural retrievers.
- They are extremely dedicated to their owners
and always check back during the hunt.
- Never self hunting or running wild.
- They are excellent with children and well
mannered in the home.
- They require your attention and love.
GIVE THEM YOUR HEART AND THEY WILL
GIVE YOU THEIRS!
